Leander Dendoncker has established himself as a regular at Wolverhampton Wanderers after struggling in his first six months at Molineux.

Over the past few weeks, there have been suggestion in the Italian media that the 25-year-old is on Lazio’s radar.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the Belgium international is in the ‘sights’ of the Serie A club’s sporting director, Igli Tare.

Simone Inzaghi’s side are second in the table and will likely play in the Champions League next season.

Tare is planning to build a squad good enough to compete in both domestic and European competitions, and Nuno Espírito Santo’s man is a ‘target’ for him.

The former Anderlecht man can be used in the defensive midfield position or in the heart of the defence.

Dendoncker’s physicality impresses the Italian club’s chief, which is why Tare has included the former in his plans for next season. The report believes the Wolves man is valued between €25-30m.

La Lazio Siamo Noi only provide information about Dendoncker emerging as target for the Italian club and there’s no mention if either the versatile player or Wolves are interested in the transfer.
