As explained on Monday, Fabio Silva’s loan move from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Anderlecht is on the verge of being announced.

Despite claims of setbacks, Anderlecht-Online made it clear it was all set.

Now, we have Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri taking to Twitter to explain the Wolves player ‘has trained with the group’ of the Jupiler Pro League club, revealing he ‘in fact passed his medical yesterday’.

Not only that, but the ‘official announcement shouldn’t be too far’, suggesting that we can finally put all this to bed.

The Portuguese striker arrived in a hefty transfer from Porto with plenty of promise, but, at only 19 years of age, he has struggled to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League.

That’s why a move away from Wolves would make the most sense at this stage, as Anderlecht are likely to give him plenty of playing time, with room for error, so that he can develop and return to Molineux raring to go and improved.
