Wolverhampton Wanderers are without the services of Raúl Jiménez after the striker suffered a fractured skull against Arsenal at the end of last month.

Nuno Espírito Santo has hinted the Wanderers could look to bring in a new striker after admitting the Mexican’s long-term absence is ‘terrible’ for his side.

Two days ago, reports coming out of England stated Wolves have made a loan enquiry for Real Madrid’s Luka Jović.

AS now brings the latest update on the 23-year-old, who has struggled since joining Los Blancos from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019.

It’s claimed the Premier League side and Eintracht Frankfurt are the two ‘most interested’ clubs when it comes to the Serbia international.

The La Liga winners were open to the idea of allowing the frontman go out on loan in the summer, but he decided to continue in Madrid. Having failed to impress this season, Real Madrid have another opportunity to look for a new club in January.

The door is open for Jović’s temporary exit, although it’s not a priority for the Spanish giants as Zinedine Zidane will continue to count on him if he’s still at the club beyond the upcoming window. However, the manager has ‘given the go-ahead’ for the striker to go out on loan.

AS add Wolves and the Bundesliga side are the ‘two very interested clubs’ in the attacker. The newspaper are of the belief Jović would ‘fit perfectly’ at Molineux as he has conditions similar to that of Jiménez.

Real Madrid are ready to open the door for him to go out on loan, and with Wolves and Eintracht Frankfurt named as two suitors, it remains to be seen how things develop in the coming weeks.
