Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Daniel Podence was on loan at Olympiacos last season.
Parapolitika now claim the Greek side are working to bring the 28-year-old back to the club this summer.
Olympiacos’ priority is to sign both the Wolves player FC Porto’s David Carmo, who also spent last season on loan with them.
The winger came off the bench in Wolves’ defeat to Arsenal last weekend. This wouldn’t change his desire to leave, something that he has already communicated to the Molineux leaders.
As well as Olympiacos, there are other clubs looking to sign the Portuguese attacker. The former seem to be looking to buy him, and the deal will depend entirely on the negotiations with Gary O’Neil’s side.
Parapolitika claim this week will be ‘decisive’ for the Europa Conference League winners to try and finalise signings of both Podence and Carmo.
Olympiacos are going to strengthen their attack before the window closes. It needs to be seen whether they’ll bring the Wolves attacker or another player in the same position.
Podence scored 15 goals and registered 13 assists from 47 matches for the Greek club last season.
