Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Bruno Jordão finally managed to get some playing time this week.

The player had last made an appearance at the end of the last season, when featuring for Swiss side Grasshoppers.

Since joining Santa Clara on a loan deal last summer, he had been sidelined due to injuries.

Jordão had been available since January, but wasn’t used by the Portuguese side. That situation dragged until last weekend, when he was a starter in the match against Paços Ferreira.

The comeback of the Wolves loanee is today reported by Record. They highlight how great it is that the midfielder is back to playing, but point out that his team lost due to a penalty that he gave away, and they are now at the bottom of the league table.

The 24-year-old is loaned by Wolves until the end of the season, and has a contract with the Molineux side running until 2024.

He had already struggled with injuries at Wolverhampton as well, and despite arriving at the club in 2019, he only has five appearances made for them.

At the English clubb, he was more used by the U-21 squad than by the first team.
