AC Milan are again in a mess.

Slipping down to 12th in Serie A and with finances which match the problems on the pitch, the Italian club could be looking at sales in the not too distant future.

This has led to many rumours around Suso. The Spaniard has been the subject of repeat claims of Premier League interest for years, with there never feeling an awful lot in it.

On Monday, Calciomercato.it linked both Wolves and West Ham as potential January destinations, and the story was then hyped by English websites.

However, it’s worth nothing what was actually claimed. The Italian news source stated: ‘In Spain he is particularly appreciated by Monchi but attention to the Premier League where economic resources are not lacking: teams like West Ham or Wolves could decide to focus on the Spanish to go up the rankings.’

This isn’t a claim of interest, but rather a suggestion that clubs like Wolves could make a move for the player.

Wolves have likely been dragged in because of their AC Milan transfer connections. Signing Patrick Cutrone in the summer, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been repeatedly linked with Franck Kessie as well.
