Wolverhampton Wanderers’ chase for Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini is a rumour which seems to be growing in the Italian media.

On Tuesday afternoon, L’Eco di Bergamo claimed the Premier League side are interested in signing the 26-year-old to replace Rui Patricio.

Even though there were no strong claims about a potential negotiation, we get to see the news now being shared by Calcio Mercato as well.

The website brings a big story about Atalanta’s plans for the summer market, as they’re keen on making a big move to sign Jeremie Boga from Sassuolo.

Regarding the outgoing transfers, Calcio Mercato writes that Wolves could soon have a spot for the goalkeeping position. It’s said they could get Gollini, who ‘already knows the Premier League well’ due to his experience at Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Calcio Mercato says Atalanta could make between €25m and €30m with the goalkeeper. That means they’d have enough money to bid for Boga.
