The Portuguese media is now sounding pretty sure that Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Ruben Vinagre is switching clubs in January.

The fullback is currently having a spell at Olympiacos, where he’s getting little playing time, with only four appearances this season so far.

Now as newspaper A Bola writes about the Greek side’s interest in Oleg Reabciuk from Paços Ferreira, they have their say on the Wolves player as well.

They write that Olympiacos signing Vinagre wasn’t a good decision, and the fullback should now be ‘deflected’ to a new club, which is Portuguese side Braga. He’s expected to be loaned in January and stay for the rest of the season.

Ruben Vinagre joined Wolves on a loan move from Monaco in 2017, and had the transfer made permanent in the following year. He made a total of 70 appearances for the Molineux side.

His contract with the club only expires in 2024, so in case he doesn’t convince at Braga either, there’s still plenty of time for him to get things right at the Premier League club.
