Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a deal with Galatasaray for Mario Lemina to join the Turkish club today.

That’s according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who says the two clubs have finally agreed a deal worth £2.5m for the midfielder. A payment plan is now being discussed between the various parties.

Lemina has been linked with a move away from Wolves throughout this month after falling out of favour under previous manager Gary O’Neil.

This continued under Vitor Pereira, who insisted that the midfielder would not play for the club again while the January transfer window was open. They’ve been working to get him out of Molineux today before the window closes.

That appears to now be on the cards as Sabuncuoğlu reports that Wolves and Galatasaray have agreed a deal worth €2.5m for him. They are now working on how that will be paid.

This comes after a report earlier today stated that Lemina had already agreed terms with Galatasaray and was now waiting for the two terms to agree before making the switch.

Now that has been done, it appears the transfer is in the home stretch and Lemina may get the exit from Wolves that he and the club both want.
