The transfer of Leonardo Bonatini to Wolves was taken with a bit of surprise by the press.
The Brazilian and Portuguese newspapers didn’t seem to have any information until the signing was officially announced by the Championship club.
Now the outlets are starting reacting to the move, and the blog Ora Bolas from Goal comes up with the amount which Wolves may pay for the player in case he impresses this season.
According to their story, the agreement includes a buying option of €6m to be activated at the end of the season. The player is arriving on loan from Al-Hilal Riyadh.
Bonatini won’t have a language problem during his adaptation England. The Brazilian, who already played in Portugal, will meet several Portuguese players in the Wolves’ squad, as well as manager Nuno Espírito Santo.
Despite mentioning Jorge Mendes’ strong influence at the club, the blog highlights that Bonatini is not one of his clients, but that’s never stopped the agent before.
