On Monday, Sport explained Wolverhampton Wanderers are ‘crazy’ about Abde Ezzalzouli and have made it known to the winger’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
The 21-year-old has been on loan at CA Osasuna since last summer and has managed five goals and two assists from 26 matches in all competitions this season.
Wolves wanting the Barca owned player is also discussed in Tuesday’s Diario Información.
The Blaugrana paid €2m to sign the Morocco international from Hércules in 2021. His fine form for Osasuna this season has helped him raise his valuation to €20m. Taking the La Liga side’s financial conditions into account, this is ‘not inconsiderable amount’ for them.
Wolves have asked Mendes to start Abde’s possible move to the Molineux. The agent has ‘communicated’ to Barcelona about the interest shown by Julen Lopetegui’s side in his client.
The attacker dreams to represent Barca next season. Xavi Hernández doesn’t close the door on him, but their ‘financial emergencies may precipitate his sale’ in the summer.
It’s therefore now down to Wolves to convince Abde join them, if Barca show willingness to cash in from his sale.
