Earlier, we covered a piece from Brazilian outlet UOL regarding talks between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Hulk.

The website claimed that the negotiations were going well, but as the winger wouldn’t get a work permit due to the new rules in the United Kingdom, the move ended up collapsing.

Hulk is still a Shanghai SIPG player, yet given his contract expires at the end of the year, he can join any other side as a free agent in January.

Now outlet Esporte Interativo brings more updates on the talks with Wolves, and although they claim to have ‘confirmed’ UOL’s information, they actually bring a little more to it.

Esporte Interativo writes that Hulk already ‘had an agreement’ with the Molineux side, but the done deal was blocked by the Premier League rules.

Hulk hasn’t played for the Brazilian national team since 2016, and since the Chinese League isn’t highly ranked by the FA, that made it impossible for him to get the work permit.

His signing is now disputed by Palmeiras and Porto.
