Wolverhampton Wanderers are in ‘advanced talks’ for the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Pedrinho, according to reports.
It’s Goal Brasil who today claims the talks ‘should have a positive outcome’ in the next transfer window.
According to their report, Wolves have already made an offer for the 24-year-old. And that includes a confidentiality clause to stop details, including the name of the club, from being divulged.
Goal Brasil, however, managed to learn that it’s the Molineux side who submitted the bid, as they’re trying to sign the player at Bruno Lage’s request. The manager had already worked with Pedrinho at Benfica and now wants him by his side at Wolves.
Wolves’ chase for Pedrinho had been reported earlier this year, when Russia started their invasion of Ukraine and several Brazilians started fleeing the country. Now even though many countries opened doors for those players, that wasn’t the case in the Premier League.
Now it seems Bruno Lage’s side carried on with their pursuit, and plan to complete the move in the summer.
