At the weekend we covered claims from Portugal that Goncalo Guedes will be leaving Valencia this summer, and Wolves and AS Roma are the two teams currently in the picture to sign him.
Guedes has a contract with Valencia which expires in June 2023, and therefore a transfer fee was put at no more than €20m. That looks a good deal, and it was explained Jorge Mendes would play a big part in the potential move, with Bruno Lage and Jose Mourinho both fans of the player.
Wolves have also been linked to other wide players in recent weeks, and Benfica’s Rafa Silva was another one of those.
Calciomercato now bring a very short claim on Sevilla’s Lucas Ocampos. It’s explained that he could be moving in the summer, with Wolves and West Ham both in the picture.
Ocampos has played a mixture of left wing and right wing for Sevilla this season, and scored eight goals across 35 matches. He has a contract until June 2024, and would almost certainly cost more than Guedes.
Just a brief claim to consider for now, and not as strong as the Guedes report.
