Braga are eyeing up a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers full-back Ruben Vinagre, with Carlos Carvalhal keen to add to his squad.
That’s according to Record, who say the club’s idea of having two players in place for each position has been weakened by an injury to Francisco Moura.
His replacement Galeno has filled the void well, but Carvalhal wants one more in the position and has expressed this to president António Salvador, who has told his manager he will do everything to satisfy his wishes.
Their idea is a ‘surgical attack’ on the market with Salvador insisting he will not ‘close his eyes to a good business opportunity’.
The club have already drawn up a portfolio of players that includes several names and one of them on the list is Wolves man Vinagre.
He is currently out on loan with Greek side Olympiakos, who also have an option to make it permanent, but has managed just two appearances in the league so far.
He ‘came close to strengthening’ Braga in the summer and the fact he seems to be out of favour in Greece could open the door to a second move for him.
Wolves stance isn’t made clear, although they would presumably be happy to set up a new loan if it was more likely to lead to a transfer in the summer.
