Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Patrick Cutrone has chosen his new agent, with him set to replace Giovanni Branchini with the very well connected Federico Pastorello.
That’s according to Calciomercato journalist Daniele Luongo, who provides the biggest hint yet that the forward will be on the move come January.
Cutrone is currently on loan with Fiorentina, who he joined on loan from Wolves after a disastrous six months with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
His time at the Serie A club has not been a happy one, though, with him failing to convince the club that the purchase clause included in his loan deal is worth them spending.
He has thus been linked with a return to Wolves, as well as various moves elsewhere, and a change of agent would certainly suggest something is on the cards.
Indeed, La Nazione provide an update on that front, saying Cutrone is ‘one step away’ from leaving Fiorentina, so long as they can get permission from Wolves first.
It’s unlikely he’ll be returning to Molineux, though, with several sides in Italy all keen on keeping him there instead.
Bologna and Parma both ‘like him’ but it is Napoli who are ‘likely to make the right move’ should they lose both Fernando Llorente and Arkadiusz Milik as expected in January.
The move is very much dependant on both of those players going first, though, so this potential transfer is one that’s likely to run throughout the winter widow.
