Back on Saturday, the father of Wolvehampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez spoke to the Mexican media at the national team’s training camp.
Interviewed by Fox Sports, he admitted his son has other offers for the next season, and despite claiming the player is happy at Molineux, he said they always have higher goals.
Ruben Rodriguez, the journalist who interviewed Jimenez’s father, was later speaking to Fox Sports about the national team, and presented his interview as well.
After the video, Rodriguez said a couple of other things he knew about the Wolves player’s situation. That’s when he came up with exclusive claims saying there are ‘two or three other Premier League clubs’ who are interested in the striker, along with a couple more from Spain.
He says the name of the clubs haven’t been revealed, but there’s a chance Jimenez could leave Wolves and continue in the Premier League next season.
The striker was loaned to Wolves by Benfica last year, and the English side would have to pay €38m to trigger the buying option they have over him.
