Despite looking busy while fighting for his place at Wolverhampton Wandeders, Fabio Silva is still sorting issues regarding his exit from Porto in 2020.

According to newspaper Record today, the striker has ‘filed a lawsuit’ against his former club, charging a debt of €253k.

The amount is about a signing bonus which Silva was supposed to get paid when agreeing to a new contract with Porto back in 2019, when his release clause went up to €125m.

The action was filed at the Tribunal Judicial da Comarca do Porto on the 31th of December, Record says.

And it turns out the Wolverhampton man isn’t the only who Porto have a pending debt with, as the company who represents him are also filing a lawsuit against the club.

Record says the Dragons still haven’t paid SVT a fee of €3m regarding the commissions of the striker’s transfer to Wolves.

Porto made €40m with the sale at the time and allegedly did not repass the percentage due.
