In search of a striker following the serious injury to Raúl Jiménez, Wolverhampton Wanderers have seemingly found their man.
This comes from Cadena SER Gipuzkoa, who report on Wednesday afternoon that Nuno Espírito Santo’s side have turned their attention to Willian José, currently at Real Sociedad.
It appears this is a temporary deal, since the outlet confirmed on Twitter the player ‘will be moving’ to Molineux and it will be a ‘loan with an option to buy’, although the amount hasn’t been revealed yet.
Willian José has been looking for a way out from the club for some time now ever since he saw his move to Tottenham fall through, and the once key player has seen his game time reduced, starting just 42% of La Liga games this season.
He’s managed four goals in 20 appearances, and it will be up to him to now prove to Wolves that he’s worth keeping come the end of the season.
