Borussia Dortmund U19 coach Hannes Wolf has been appointed as the manager of VfB Stuttgart.
The German coach has managed Borussia Dortmund’s U17 and U19 sides since 2009, and has developed a number of players under him, including Liverpool target Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic worked under Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund, and was asked about the Liverpool manager’s impact on his career by German newspaper Bild.
He said: “Without him I wouldn’t be here now. I told him the same on Tuesday night. He was very happy for me.”
Klopp would certainly be delighted to see Hannes being appointed as the manager of his hometown club.
Earlier at the start of the season, David Wagner, who also worked under Klopp at Dortmund, was appointed as the manager of Huddersfield and has rallied them to the top of the Championship table.
Hannes will be hoping to use his experience under Klopp and Tuchel at VfB Stuttgart, and make a quick return to the Bundesliga.
