Linked with a move for Yannick Carrasco back in January, Arsenal never managed to convince Dalian Yifang with a loan offer.
However, less strapped for cash than they were midway through the season, the Gunners have seemingly returned for the Belgian winger and are closer than ever to signing the former Atlético Madrid man.
According to Sport in Spain, Arsenal are ‘one step away’ from acquiring the 25-year-old’s services with an ‘offer on the table’ from the London club.
The amount the player would be transferred for isn’t revealed, but this comes after Carrasco himself revealed a club in Europe were doing their best to bring him back to Europe.
Joining Dalian Yifang back in February 2018, the Belgium international has scored 14 goals and assisted teammates 11 times during his stay in China.
Carrasco was left out of his team’s game against Shanghai SIPG last week despite picking up an assist in his side’s 1-0 victory against Shanghai Shenhua in the previous fixture.
