PSV defender Angelino has told the Dutch media he is confident they can get the right result against Tottenham Hotspur when they meet in tomorrow’s Champions League tie.

The 21 year old joined the Dutch champions in the summer from Manchester City.

Speaking to Voetbal International, Angelino was asked about PSV’s prospects against Tottenham on Wednesday night: “There will be pressure on us, but for Tottenham it will also be a difficult game.

“They are in the same situation as we and they did not expect that. We are confident in any case. We’ll be playing at home and with our fanatic fans behind us, it will be tough for Tottenham.”

PSV and Tottenham will go up against each other in their next two Champions League games, which will shape the destiny of the two clubs in the competition.

Both have yet to register a win in this season’s group stage, with PSV losing to Inter Milan and Tottenham suffering a home defeat to Barcelona on match day two.

Tottenham will be looking to pick up all six points against the Dutch side and then hope to get something in the remaining two games against Inter Milan and Barcelona.
