West Ham United could be facing competition from Tottenham for the signing of Polish goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski this summer.

That’s according to La Nazione, who say that Fabio Paratici could be moving to trump Tottenham’s rivals to the signing.

The newspaper explains that Dragowski’s contract at Fiorentina is set to expire in 2023, and while they would like to keep him, a renewal is needed.

Their aim is to talk about an extension and get it signed, but in recent weeks, he has ‘ended up in the crosshairs’ of the ‘big names’ in Europe.

These are currently Atletico Madrid and West Ham, while there is also ‘whisper of interest from Paratici’s Tottenham’.

So far, there have only been ‘polls’ with the player’s entourage, and no official offers have arrived at the club as yet, but the ‘sirens are starting’.

West Ham, in particular, need a replacement for Lukasz Fabianski, while Hugo Lloris has been linked with a move away from Tottenham as well.

Dragowski is also ‘ready to put himself’ at the exit door and has left it down to his agent to find a move for him.

Fiorentina do not want a sale and will demand €15m, which is not an insurmountable fee for either of the Premier League duo.

They’re yet to make their moves, but it seems Paratici could be eyeing up a move to trump the Hammers to their man.
