Tottenham have put a wall up around Destiny Udogie, refusing to even name an asking price for him because they don’t want to sell.

That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Tottenham ‘definitely want’ to keep Udogie for next season.

He states that Tottenham consider the defender a key player in their squad planning for the future and as a result there currently no price tag on him. That’s despite interest from several top clubs.

Instead, Tottenham are more likely to consider signing a back-up for the 22-year-old left-back. His current contract runs until 2030.

Udogie has been a key player for Tottenham since joining in an €18m deal in 2022, although he spent that season on loan at Udinese and returned to Tottenham in 2023.

He’s been first choice in the side since then and it seems Tottenham intend to keep it that way for the forseeable future.

Of course, that can always change if a huge offer were to arrive, but for now they’re insisting that there is no price tag, and they won’t even discuss the matter.
