Henry Onyekuru’s agent William D’Avila has spoken to Turkish radio station Radyospor and confirmed interest from other clubs.
The Everton attacker spent last season on loan with Galatasaray and impressed during his time in Istanbul.
Speaking to Radyospor’s Ozgur Sancar, as covered by Ajansspor, D’Avila said there were offers from Spain for his client: “For Henry, we’ve received many offers from Spain. Valencia, Sevilla and Real Betis have submitted their offers. Espanyol are also interested in him. But Henry is very happy at Galatasaray, we are working hard to keep him at Galatasaray.”
He added on his client’s future: “Everton are also looking to allow him to stay at Galatasaray. They have four similar wingers and they are happy with his progress in Turkey. Let’s see what happens. This is a complicated process. But if you ask Henry he wants to stay at Galatasaray.”
Onyekuru scored 16 goals in the club’s domestic double season and became a fan favourite with his performances.
Previous reports from Turkey suggested Galatasaray are working hard to keep him for next season but they faced competition from other clubs, including Bayern Munich.
The 21 year old has yet to make his debut, 18 months after signing for Everton, as he’s been unable to get a work permit to play in England.
It’s now likely the player’s future will be sorted out after this summer’s Africa Cup of Nations, with the winger set to represent Nigeria.
