The agent of Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen has told the Dutch media they haven’t thought about next season, and whether the player will remain in Turkey.

Janssen is currently on loan with Fenerbahce, but his time in Istanbul has been hampered by injury.

Speaking to Voetbol international, Louis Laros was asked if his client would be returning to Tottenham or staying at Fenerbahce: “We’ve not thought about that yet, that’s not important either. His rehabilitation is now central.”

Janssen joined Tottenham in 2016, but failed to make an impact in his debut season with the Premier League side.

With the arrival of Fernando Llorente in the last summer window, Janssen was loaned out to Fenerbahce, and he got off to a decent start with the Turkish giants.

However, Janssen picked up an injury in December, and hasn’t played since. This has led to speculation he will return to Tottenham at the end of the season, but his future remains uncertain with the London club.

With Llorente providing back up to Harry Kane, it’s looking unlikely Janssen is in the long term plans of Maurico Pochettino.
