Edin Dzeko’s time at AS Roma could come to an end after the end of the season, and West Ham are thought to be one of a number of clubs keen.

According to Calciomercato, the former Manchester City man and the Serie A outfit have a clear idea for the future, which is to parts ways for a fee between €15m and €20m.

Inter Milan have identified the striker as a transfer target to replace Mauro Icardi, but a lot will depend if Luciano Spalletti is still the Nerrazzurri manager for next season.

If Inter decide to go for Dzeko irrespective of their managerial situation, they will face competition from West Ham United.

The Hammers were ‘very tempted’ to land the 32-year-old in the winter market as a replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who was linked with a move to China.

Arnautovic continued with the Premier League club, but that should not stop his club from making an approach for Dzeko. Calciomercato explains West Ham will return for the frontman in the next window.

Whether Dzeko’s previous connection with Manuel Pellegrini will help the London club in their efforts to sign him or not is to be seen.
