Area Napoli has a report today dismissing claims West Ham could make moves for either Victor Osimhen or Allan.
Osimhen currently plays for Lille but is thought to be on the verge of a move to Napoli, where Allan already is. Negotiations have been ongoing for weeks, and a deal for the attacker to move to Italy is thought to be close.
Allan could pass him at the airport, with the midfielder’s potential exit being the subject of claims for several months. Everton are the club who are most interested, given Carlo Ancelotti wants to reunite with the player at Goodison Park.
But they rubbish claims of West Ham interest in either player. It’s stated sources at the Premier League club have made it clear there’s no truth in the reports, because the Hammers ‘cannot spend the amount necessary’ to sign either player this summer.
The transfer fee to get either Osimhen or Allan would be too much for West Ham, and the same would be likely when it came to salary.
