The Premier League chase for Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro is actually becoming quite interesting in the past few days.
Yesterday, we covered a story from Corriere Dello Sport which claimed that West Ham, Newcastle, Leicester, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all interested in the player.
Now this list is repeated by newspaper Tuttosport today, who claims that the midfielder really has offers from all of these sides.
But it’s said that there are actually two clubs who would be in the lead, and that’s West Ham and Wolverhampton.
The Hammers and Wolves would be the sides who are more keen on meeting Juventus’ demands, as the Old Lady are said to be asking for €20m.
Sturaro’s agent has also confirmed that several English clubs are working on signing his client. With only a couple of weeks left in the transfer window, maybe this battle will turn into a wild auction to get the 25-year-old. Or maybe not.
