West Ham, Wolves and Aston Villa are all interested in Girona’s Viktor Tsygankov this summer after his impressive performances for the Spanish side this season.
That’s according to AS and Grada 3, who say the full-back has Premier League interest after shining under Michel this year.
AS report that Tsygankov is one of several players in the Girona squad being eyed up by the Premier League this summer, with several suitors already ‘stalking’ the player.
His performances this season, and a tally of six goals and six assists, has drawn attention from the Premier League. The player has also been made aware that he has suitors ready to put ‘important proposals’ on the table.
“He has offers and wants to evaluate them calmly,” a source close to the 26-year-old is reported as saying, before it is explained that even more sides could come to the table if he impresses with Ukraine at Euro 2024.
Either way, the interest is there, although AS don’t go as far as to name the clubs interested at this moment in time.
That’s where Grada 3 come into the mix. They relay the report from AS but, then, surprisingly, name names, insisting that the Premier League interest in the player is coming from West Ham, Wolves and Aston Villa.
Now, to be clear, they do not claim this as their own information but insist it comes from AS. AS’s report, though, absolutely does not name any interested clubs and simply focuses on Premier League interest. So, where Grada 3 have pulled them from is unclear.
We, therefore, will have to take this with a hefty pinch of salt for the time being, but if you do happen to see West Ham, Wolves or Aston Villa linked with Tsygankov this summer, you know this is where it started and in confusing circumstances at that.
