At the weekend, we covered claims from Spain that Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri is the ‘big wish’ for new West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui. It was also stated the Spanish club and the striker are both open to a transfer in the summer window.
The Hammers had tried signing the 26-year-old in the past and could return for him again to bolster their attack.
Sevilla need to raise funds could result in ‘lightning negotiations’, meaning the transfer process for the frontman ‘will speed up in the coming days’ with West Ham.
It’s claimed the Premier League side ‘will bet heavily’ on the player, and the Andalusian club value him between €20m and €25m. If all parties can come to an agreement, En-Nesyri’s move to West Ham is likely to go through before the end of next month.
En-Nesyri finished the season with 20 goals and three assists from 41 matches. He has already played under Lopetegui at Sevilla and the pair could reunite at the London club.
