West Ham United are today highlighted in the race for Dinamo Zagreb defender Josip Sutalo.
With Serie A clubs chasing him, Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb features a story explaining where all interested sides currently stand in the fight for the signing.
It turns out there’s a whole paragraph for West Ham, with the outlet pointing out the David Moyes’ side are full of money following the sale of Declan Rice to Arsenal.
The Hammers could end up making even more cash by selling Gianluca Scamacca, and are believed to have ‘great economical strength’, perhaps even enough to win the battle for Sutalo.
West Ham should just be aware of the huge competition for the signing. Just in Italy, there are the likes of Fiorentina and Napoli. Then there are also RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen trying to take him to Bundesliga. And in the Premier League, there’s the interest from Arsenal.
So it’s no surprise to see TuttoMercatoWeb claiming Sutalo’s price is ‘rising’ lately. All clubs are willing to pay over €20m, and only time will tell how far that auction will go.
