According to the Greek media, West Ham United signing Leonardo Koutris from Olympicos is looking unlikely.

Earlier this week there were claims in the English press that Manuel Pellegrini is looking to sign Koutris for next season. However, according to SportDog.Gr, West Ham are not interested in signing Koutris this summer.

SportDog reports West Ham sporting director Mario Husillos, who worked for Olmypiacos during the 2016/17 season, has other priorities ahead of the next transfer window.

Husillos knows Koutris from his time with the Greek side, which seems to be where the links came from. With the Hammers already having Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku at their disposal the left back position isn’t a concern for the West Ham sporting director say SportDog.

Genoa are also said be interested in the player after reports of an offer from the Serie A side.

Kourtis has made 24 appearances for Olympiacos this season and is under contract with his club until June 2021.
