According to a claim in the Italian media, West Ham United are showing an interest in former Manchester City attacker Samir Nasri.

The Frenchman joined Turkish side Antalyaspor last summer, after falling out of favour at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.

TMW today report West Ham have turned to Nasri because they are struggling to get a deal done for Inter Milan’s Joao Mario.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move away from the San Siro this transfer window, and it seems West Ham have been exploring the possibility of bringing in the former Sporting Lisbon player.

It’s been claimed West Ham have now switched their focus to Nasri, with claims an offer has been made with Antalyaspor.

This would be an eyebrow raising move by the Hammers, but there have been reports in the past few days that he could leave the Turkish side.
