Whilst nearly everyone else in the Italian media reports there’s all kinds of issues in West Ham’s negotiations to sign Felipe Anderson, TMW have it simpler and claim productive talks were held last night with Lazio for both him and Jordan Lukaku.
TMW report West Ham have continued their discussions with the Rome club, and it’s claimed they’ve offered €45m for the Lazio pair.
However, Lazio president Claudio Lottio wants to implement €5m bonuses on top of this and will seek an agreement with West Ham in the ‘coming hours’.
It’s reported the Premier League side have a ‘basic agreement’ with both Anderson and Lukaku and now it’s just a case of convincing the Italian club.
Both players are expected to sign five year deals with West Ham, with Anderson receiving €3.5m a season and Lukaku €2.5m, once they get the nod from Lazio.
Earlier today we covered claims Lazio want West Ham overpay for Lukaku and sign Anderson for a reduced fee. The Rome club reportedly have to pay 25% to Anderson’s former club Santos on any future sale, whilst they’d receive the full amount for Lukaku.
