Simonze Zaza is set to become a real target for Valencia soon.
According to “exclusive news” from Todo Mercado Web this Wednesday, the club will hold a meeting next week to discuss signings for the January window, and the manager Cesare Prandelli wants Simone Zaza for his team, so that’s when the chase is set to be come more ‘official’.
Prandelli’s interest in the striker isn’t something new. Valencia and Zaza have been linked for a few weeks now, although the ways to find a deal for the striker haven’t been said yet.
Zaza still belongs to Juventus, as his loan deal with West Ham includes a clause of a permanent move to the English club in case he reaches a certain number of appearances (14).
However, with a season that has been far from impressive, it’s remains to be seen whether West Ham will give up on the deal before the clause is activated. That’s what the other clubs would keeping an eye on.
The 25-year-old is yet to score after ten appearances for the Hammers.
