Vítor Oliveira scored four goals for SC Braga as they beat Santa Clara 6-0 in the Taca de Portugal at the weekend.
Braga are currently fifth in Portugal’s top flight, whereas Santa Clara are bottom, so them progressing was no surprise and the scoreline just made everything sweeter.
Given the 21-year-old impressed in that match he’s inevitably attracting attention from elsewhere. Calciomercato report ‘West Ham and Tottenham are ready to battle’ to sign the player in 2022, although there’s no clarity whether that relates to the January window or next summer.
The forward has scored seven goals in nine appearances so far this season, and has a contract with Braga lasting until June 2024, having signed a new deal earlier this year.
There’s no claims of negotiations with West Ham or Tottenham at this stage, and no suggestion of what a potential transfer fee would be, so it’s best to wait for the Portuguese slant to add more details.
It’s worth noting Vítor Oliveira is also known as Vitinha, not to be confused with Vítor Ferreira, a player also referred to as Vitinha, who was on loan at Wolves last season.
