It’s been a while now, but it seems we might finally get an answer regarding Carlos Bacca and West Ham.
Of course, the impending signing of Jonathan Calleri may have put those rumours to bed altogether, but we wouldn’t put it past The Hammers to try and sign both as reports of Diafra Sakho nearing an exit refuse to go away.
On Tuesday, Corriere dello Sport have an article in their printed edition the Colombian striker has been an ‘unofficial’ ultimatum by his current club, AC Milan, to make a decision regarding his future.
The reported West Ham offer of €30m to be paid in three yearly instalments is still on the table should he want to pursue that route, even though his priority is to play the Champions League.
The London club are also said to be offering a wage increase, taking him to £73k/week.
The Hammers are allegedly happy to wait for the player to make up his mind, but it seems Bacca will wait until the very last moment to make his decision.
At least we now have a vague deadline…
