Fotomac today claim that West Ham United have tabled an offer to sign Galatasaray forward Wilfried Zaha.
The Ivory Coast international only joined Galatasaray last summer and despite winning the Super Lig with the club there have been recent reports he could return to England.
According to the Turkish media outlet, West Ham have offered Gala €7m for the former Crystal Palace player as they look to strengthen their attack.
However, the Hammers initial bid has been reportedly rejected by the Turkish side, but an improved offer of €10m could get a deal done between both clubs. It’s now expected talks with continue, with Galatasaray keen to get Zaha off their wage bill.
Zaha reportedly earns €4.3m a season after joining Cimbom on a free transfer nearly a year ago, and they want to free this up in order to bring in new players.
There’s been recent reports that Zaha wants to remain in Istanbul despite being snubbed in the final games of last season, but it seems his club have other ideas.
The 31-year-old made 42 appearances for Galatasaray in the last campaign, scoring 10 goals.
He’s contracted to the Turkish champions until June 2026.
