West Ham United have Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri ‘in their sights once again’ as they look to bolster David Moyes’ squad this summer.
That’s according to AS, who say the Hammers are looking at a deal again after making a bid for him in January 2021.
They explain that the Moroccan finished the campaign on a high with two goals for his country, but that was very much a positive in a largely disappointing season for him.
His numbers have been nowhere near what they once were but the Premier League, particularly West Ham, have ‘never lost sight’ of the striker.
They offered €35m for him last year, but neither the club nor the player wanted him to leave the club at that moment in time.
His difficult campaign has not changed their opinion of the player, and they believe the 25-year-old ‘still has a lot to say’ in the game.
West Ham know this, and they have not lost track of him, with Moyes now ‘considering the possibility’ of making a new offer for him.
He believes En-Nesyri can be a suitable replacement for Michail Antonio, who they have been heavily reliant upon for several years.
