Believe it or not, West Ham United are seriously being pointed out by the Argentine media as a possible destination for Carlos Tévez.
This rumour was started by the player himself. Despite talks to renew his contract with Boca Juniors, he’s now a free agent, and said he could end up finishing his career at one of his former clubs, Corinthians or West Ham.
Website El Intransigente have published two stories about Tévez’s future over the past day or so, and the Premier League side are named in both.
The first one listed all the possible destinations for the striker. It was said a return to Europe would happen in case he signs for West Ham, where he’s ‘nearly an idol’.
The other one is a story which talks about the possibility of Tévez moving to MLS, where Minnesota United would be interested in his signing.
It’s claimed that the player would be happy to go to a country where English is spoken, especially because his daughter wants to study languages.
Then they mention that West Ham, who are another one of his options, fits the same characteristics, besides being part of an important league such as the Premier League.
Now would the Hammers want Tévez back at the age of 36?
