The Portuguese press has an incredible ability of giving West Ham United a mention most times they write about Moussa Marega.
They normally refer to the Hammers when speaking of the club’s attempt to sign the striker back last summer.
But with some recent claims saying the London side are still interested in buying the 28-year-old, there are now two reasons to drag them in.
This chase is commented on by A Bola today, as the newspaper reports that Marega is joining the squad which will play Krasnodar in Russia next week.
A Bola says Marega may not stay at the club after this game, as he’s been constantly linked to a West Ham move once again. His future is said to be totally uncertain.
All they do is to point out that Marega is protected by a €40m release clause, so it sounds like they don’t know much about the Hammers’ chase. The very same A Bola had previously said this transfer was very close to happening, and despite still feeding the rumour they are being a lot more careful now.
