Could West Ham go full circle and return to Joshua King fin their striker search?

Nettavisen certainly believe so, publishing an article on Friday morning that looks at the Norway international’s situation at AFC Bournemouth.

Once a regular starter for the Cherries, the forward has only made 11 appearances in the Championship this season, of which only four have been starts.

West Ham were keen to sign him in the summer, going as far as making a £13m bid for the player, which was turned down.

Since selling Sébastien Haller, the Hammers have been on a mission to find a replacement, and Nettavisen claim that, despite their attempts to sign players from elsewhere, they are ‘still interested’ in King as David Moyes ‘wants him to replace’ the Ivory Coast international.

It’s not said whether or not they’ll make a move before the end of the window, but with the striker hardly featuring and their need for someone other than Michail Antonio up front, this could be a last minute deal worth exploring.

Perhaps £13m would do the trick now?
