AmkSpor report Besiktas are interested in West Ham United attacker Enner Valencia ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Super Lig champions are preparing for next season, and their objective is to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League. Besiktas subsequently need to bring in some quality players this summer, and AMK report West Ham’s Valencia is one of their targets.
The Ecuadorian international spent the last season on loan at Everton and he recently returned West Ham after the Merseyside club confirmed they wouldn’t be extending his stay at Goodison Park.
It’s understood West Ham and manager Slaven Bilic could do his old side Besiktas a favour by allowing him to join them on loan, like he did last season with Everton.
Even though the Hammers need to bolster their attacking options in the next window, it seems Valencia isn’t in Bilic’s long term plans. He’s been linked with a move to Mexico this week, but clubs there would struggle to pay Valencia’s wages.
