As West Ham are reportedly keeping an eye on Vincent Aboubakar, there are two articles today in the Portuguese press today which suggest the interest is becoming more real.

First, they were mentioned in a list of sides who could be approaching the player soon. The competition would include Middlesbrough, Leicester City, Rennes and Besiktas.

There’s also the information that the Hammers officials are expected to be at the match between Rio Ave and Porto tonight.

According to A Bola, the scouts are already registered for the match, and the newspaper writes they would be watching the 24-year-old striker indeed.

Despite having scored 18 goals during the season, Aboubakar’s last months for Porto weren’t very good. That’s why the club signed reinforcements for the attack and now the Cameroon striker is no longer needed.

Porto are said to be looking for the best way to let him go, as they analyse all the offers.
