Dropped after his horrible mistake against Stoke back in November, Adrian’s future at West Ham is currently under threat, especially with Slaven Bilic allegedly looking around for a new goalkeeper.
Currently replaced by Darren Randolph, the Spaniard could eventually see Saint-Etienne’s Stéphane Ruffier arrive at the London Stadium, if French journalist Manu Lonjon is to be believed.
Taking to Twitter to deliver the news, the Yahoo! Sports man revealed that over the past few weeks, three Premier League sides, including West Ham, had been tracking the 30-year-old for, we can only assume, a potential transfer in the summer.

Often considered as one of the best goalkeepers plying his trade in Ligue 1, Ruffier is also extremely consistent, helping his side reach European football in each of the past four seasons, with the club currently on course to do so again despite a recent drop in form.
If West Ham want to have any hope of repeating last season’s impressive form, someone you can rely on between the sticks will be needed, and that man currently isn’t Adrian.
Can it be Darren Randolph long-term? We somehow doubt it, and the arrival of a new, perhaps highly regarded, shot-stopper in the near future is something West Ham fans can probably expect.
That, and a new striker.
