It’s now time for the Brazilian media to report the agreement between West Ham United and Lyon for the transfer of Lucas Paquetá.
Goal Brasil is the one reporting that the deal was closed for between €55m and €60m, with the parties ‘not revealing the exact numbers’ of the move.
It’s claimed that West Ham and Lyon are already exchanging documents for the announcement, and the player is expected in London to have his medicals and sign the contract with the Hammers.
According to Goal, Paquetá is signing a five-year deal with the London side. It’s claimed that the personal agreement between player and club was reached on Friday morning.
Indeed, the Brazilian media had already been speaking about this deal, as Lance! published earlier today that the midfielder found an understanding with David Moyes’ side.
Meanwhile, reports from France are now claiming the deal is done as well.
L’Equipe comes up to say that West Ham are paying a little over €60m, including performance bonuses.
They say his medical will take place in London on Saturday, the day he turns 25.
