Portuguese side Vitória de Setúbal are reportedly interested in signing the former Manchester United, West Ham and QPR midfielder Ravel Morrison.
As reported by newspaper Record, the Sadinos are ‘working to guarantee’ the player’s arrival in the current transfer window.
Morrison is back to Serie A side Lazio after spending a season on loan at Mexican club Atlas. He’s been involved in many transfer rumours lately, and he’s unlikely to remain in Italy.
Record points out that French side Troyes is another club who are interested in him, and should provide Vitória de Setúbal some competition.
Considered to have world class potential at Manchester United’s academy, Ravel Morrison made a move to West Ham in 2012. The Hammers ended up loaning him out to QPR and Cardiff City, and released him in 2015.
That’s when the midfielder signed a four-year deal with Lazio. But after loans at QPR and Atlas, it seems he’s changing clubs again.
In case Morrison agrees a deal with Setúbal, he would be teammates with Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira, who’s having a one-year loan spell at the Portuguese club.
