West Ham United’s Adrian San Miguel remains ‘on the agenda’ for Betis, report Mundo Deportivo.

The Spanish newspaper were covering a tweet the goalkeeper sent over the weekend. Betis have secured a Europa League spot, and Adrian sent out a tweet saying ‘Sevilla is still…. 💚’.

That led to some varied replies in Spanish, with a good few saying they look forward to Adrian coming ‘home’.

The 31 year old move to West Ham from Betis in 2013 and, aside from a couple of loans, he’d been at the Seville club all his career. He’s also from the city and that’s helped a steady stream of transfer rumours in recent years.

Betis are looking to sign a top goalkeeper, but it’s been Espanyol’s Pau Lopez most linked. The 23 year old is arguably already playing better than Adrian and has huge potential, as well as being out of contract next month.

There have been suggestions Adrian could be signed as well, but he may not fancy sitting on the bench at this stage of his career, even if it is at Betis.

Likewise, if West Ham bring in a top goalkeeper, with several linked, it’s unlikely Adrian would be a happy Hammer on the bench.
