As far as West Ham and Lazio are concerned, there is an agreement over the transfer of Felipe Anderson.
It’s been made clear by various outlets that the Hammers have said yes to receiving €3m in cash as well as 50% of any future sale, meaning that part of the process is over.
The next step is for the Brazilian to agree a contract with his former club, which Corriere dello Sport explain ‘will not be an obstacle’.
Felipe Anderson is ‘willing to reduce his salary by spreading it over a four to five year deal’, with the Serie A side helped by the recent Growth Decree that helps them with tax.
That being said, ’it’s not certain’ the player ‘will sign in the next few hours’, and the ‘times could be longer’, with it ‘conceivable’ that he is the first or second signing after Elseid Hysaj.
The reason for that is because Lazio are ‘blocked’ due to a lack of funds, and need a big sale being able to sign someone, with Correa the likeliest option.
However, until that happens, ‘the team will not be able to formalise any purchase’.
A bit more patience is needed for West Ham and their fans, then.
